A solid representative of the totally apomictis and nemoral subgenus Auricomus. Due to the apomictic style of propagation the mutations which destroy the flowers' aspect are not removed from the populations on the contrary they are encouraged due to the energy economy made by such individuals.

Cluj-Napoca, Cluj county, in the park of the Faculty of Geography (Clinicilor str. 5-7). This nemoral plant is abundant there since the area as the herbaceous flora and invertebrate fauna there both show is a patch of nemoral forest preserved in the middle of the city despite it was used as the second botanical garden of the town once.
